What we are looking for

We are now looking for a couple of new physiotherapists to join our team at SportRehab Frölunda starting in April, as some of our staff will be moving to the opening of our new unit, SportRehab Lindholmen.

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop how we work with sports medicine rehabilitation. You enjoy working in primary care, seeing patients of different ages and activity levels, from everyday active individuals and recreational athletes to elite athletes. You want to work evidence-based and continue to develop in your clinical work. Engagement in sports and community activities is seen as a positive.

Workday at SportRehab

Your main task will be the rehabilitation of patients within the Vårdval rehab in Västra Götaland (Primary Care). SportRehab welcomes all patients of all ages who have experienced symptoms, pain, and/or functional impairment. We primarily attract patients who want to return to their previous physical activity or sport. We also collaborate with a large and growing number of sports clubs in various sports.

You will be able to focus on your work with patients thanks to our modern booking and journal system, as well as a well-developed system for smooth follow-up with scientifically validated questionnaires and tests. The operations manager and receptionist/administrator are on-site daily to support and assist.

Upon further employment, you will receive substantial support for continuing education in physiotherapy and sports medicine. SportRehab aims to provide our employees with the best conditions for evidence-based further development. Seven doctoral dissertations have been presented from SportRehab, and six more are in progress. We continuously conduct staff training and team discussions to broaden our employees' competencies. Each year, we hold several open two-day courses on sports medicine rehabilitation. Over the years, SportRehab has conducted around 50 courses.

At SportRehab Frölunda, there are 15 physiotherapists, two occupational therapists, one orthopedist, and two administrators. We have a large, modern gym with, among other things, an AlterG treadmill, well-developed testing equipment, and a large open area for jumping and running activities. We collaborate with several of the major sports clubs in the region, so you will meet many young, active patients if you work with us. We also run an innovation project to promote physical activity for children and youth with school absenteeism.

In combination with our drive and focus on development, we also place a strong emphasis on creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who comes to us, and we have received excellent reviews from patients.

About SportRehab

We are now an organization with nearly four rehabilitation units and almost 50 physiotherapists, eight occupational therapists, and one orthopedist, primarily focused on the rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal issues with a sports medicine focus. We also have a newly established team working with children, youth, and adults with mental health issues.

SportRehab aims to be at the forefront of rehabilitation. We strive to stay updated on the latest research and work from an evidence-based approach in our clinical practice. Conducting, implementing, and disseminating research and knowledge is a core value for us.
